Samantha loves working with people of all ages and backgrounds to achieve their foot related health goals. She works collaboratively with her patients to keep them active, regardless of their age, abilities or activities – whether it’s a weekend in the garden, or running a marathon – as long as they are able to perform their day to day activities comfortably.
She has a particular passion for biomechanics, and treating and rehabilitating musculoskeletal injuries. Sam is a member of Sports and Exercise Podiatry Australia, and is currently undertaking training to become a strength and conditioning coach. She already uses strength and exercise therapies within her consults to improve her patients functional mobility, allowing them to move stronger and more confidently than before. She also has a lot of knowledge in footwear, and is able to provide assessment and advice accordingly.
She is experienced with paediatric assessments and foot complaints, biomechanics and sports injuries, general foot care, ingrown toe nails and diabetes assessment and education.
Sam is dedicated to continuing her professional development by being a member as well of the Australian Podiatry Association (APodA) and the Australian Strength & Conditioning Association (ASCA). She is also currently serving a role on the ApodA Regional Committee where she is a voice for the wider South Australian cohort, to help better the profession and patient care.
Outside of work, Sam practices what she preaches in terms of keeping fit and active. She plays netball competitively in the hills, enjoys running, participates in strength sessions and yoga regularly and spending time outdoors.
Samantha consults at Nailsworth Podiatry on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturday mornings. To book an appointment, please phone 0456830215 or book online below.
